All Blacks on easier side of the draw….BUT does that mean they will still win?

This will be the biggest test of John Hart’s “skills” as a coach. The biggest weakness of this AB side appears to be complacency. Just when you think they should be really up for a game they pull out a shocker!!  Sure it’s a young starting line-up, especially in the forwards, but this will be a true test of whether Hart has got the intestinal fortitude to supply the motivation the players sorely need.

I still don’t think Hart is a particulary good coach.  His main supposed skill has been his ability to motivate players..get them into the right frame of mind.  Nobody should forget that he has already gone through a world cup campaign and LOST.  Yes, that’s right, he was the co-coach of the ‘91 All Blacks. It’s a fact that seems to have escaped our pathetic Auckland based bigots that control our news/sports media. Funny how Grizz Wylie seems to have shouldered all the blame for that ‘91 failure isn’t it...?

We at RugbyHeads decided early on this season to support Hart for his quest to win back the Cup.  Both him and the AB’s deserve all the support they can get.  However the ghosts of last season still could haunt the JAFA from hell.  He’d better have his shit together that’s all I can say.

This quarter final against the Scots is intriguing. Here is the AB’s all time record against the “Hoots mon” speaking types…

Over all these years we have never lost a game against them. That word “COMPLACENCY” springs to mind. I actually don’t think it’s something to gloat about with our records against both the Scots & the Irish. The Irish have never beaten us either. They’re nations of similar size to NZ but with rugby being well down the list of their preferred sports. I love the passion with which they play. Fabulous stuff!  We do however have every right to gloat over these records…

NA NAA NA NAA NA!!!!!!!

But wait - there's more!  Combine the above with these stats:

Post Teen Rugby Players Teen Rugby Players
England 167,000 129,000
France 95,410 77,813
Japan 80,448 46,784
South Africa 60,000 108,000
New Zealand 36,031 31,142
Australia 35,159 57,623
U.S.A 26,500 3,700
Wales 18,340 30,100
Ireland 16,500 32,319
Canada 16,000 28,000
Italy 11,731 20,876
Scotland 11,707 16,400

And you can appreciate (and are probably surprised by) the ENORMOUS advantage England has over NZ (& most other Rugby nations)…you can kinda see why the Pom’s whinge a lot can’t you?   They’re like the rich kid who has all the toys but is an uncoordinated whiny little turd that nobody likes.  I think I can kinda see why the Rugby League types in the North of the country want nothing to do with the Southern so called “Elite” playing Union types. Upper class twats!!  Thank god the settlers who came to this country where mainly of Celtic or Northern English breeding. Tough, down to earth people.

Anyway, lets hope the AB’s do win Monday morning NZ time. We’ve got the players. We’ve got the game plan. Now they just have to do it out on the field when it counts. The legacy of the All Blacks demands it. Ye Gods..that sounds like an Adidas ad!!!!…fine shoes those….only $99.95 at these selected stores……<cash registers ringing in the background>

Just some thoughts on the Wellington vs. that other team on the weekend. Wouldn’t it be great for NEW ZEALAND rugby if Wellington won? I think they can do it as well. No team should fear those BMW buggering noddies up yonder. Kupu Vanisi WILL be the next openside flanker for the AB’s once Kronfeld retires. I think Scotty Robertson will push him…but Kupu has all the destructive qualities that make Josh a superstar. Partnered with Reuben Thorne with Scotty as an impact player is an awesome prospect for the future.

GO WELLINGTON!!!

Let us know what you think!

Who would have thought the Scottish had so few rugby players...  You'd have thought with such a small number of players they might have enough spare people   to pack Murrayfield full for at least one World Cup game wouldn't you?
Supposedly this article has been viewed times since we bothered to start counting*.
