Who is sick of the NZ media referring to Mitchell's ABs forthcoming year to "the journey"?

Maybe it was Mitchell who coined the term, but how the hell is something so mundane meant to fire up the team and the NZ public to join this proverbial crusade for the Holy Grail of rugby.

"the journey"

it sounds like a trip to your Grandma's in the school holidays.

The Aussies won their public over and were able to visualise their last world cup by using "bring back bill"

So do we have any ideas? I reckon the bunch of genius' we have at Rugbyheads should be able to get a new catch-phrase going.

I'll start the ball rolling with "free Willie", something naff that can be improved upon.

anything better?

Lol ... how else does Mitchell excuse the occasional English 'bump in the road'?

The RWC belongs in England ... It's our game for christ's sake!

Rugby's coming home ... it's comin home ... it's comin home ... it's comin!

oooh,

So blatant a wind-up, and here I am replying.  I always was a glutton for punishment.

The RWC has enjoyed its occasional brief trips north of the Equator, but as yet has found no reason to stay.  Maybe its the more hospitible weather in the South?  Or maybe something to do with class of the rugby teams?

Naah...  Its probably just policy.

ps:  I like "Free Willy"....  Very good.   Cool

Cheers!
