News filtering through that steinmetz has now signed up for Ulster.

A dangerous precedent now seems to be set where players in mid 20's leave NZ for the money. What happens if a few front line AB's get injured & then all that's left are inexperienced - not really the way you want to blood new talent.  Shocked

Who will be next?  Huh

Seems like they may be queuing up!

Well I don't see a hell of a lot we can do about it apart from getting the IRB to forbid first class teams all over the world from employing players not eligable to play for the country the team is based in. It's the only solution but one that will never happen seeing as the IRB is just a home-nations puppet organisation.

Whatever happens we must NOT allow players who are overseas to play for the All Blacks. The day that happens is the day I will stop going to any Super 12 or NPC match or watching it on television - if we take away the All Black jersey as an incentive to stay in NZ then neither of these competitions will be worth watching.

There are always things that we can work on and they vary from week to week. But if we get all those things right at one time someone’s going to be in for it.
