Like the question says. With the Tri-Nations FR comp starting up and the new betting option on Rugbycomp I hope that both these topics will generate a bit of discussion.

Do you think it's worth having a seperate forum for these virtual rugby type topics?

My vote was "Don't Care" - but I really mean maybe - I suggest we wait and see how much discussion is generated by Fantasy Rugby and Rugbycomp.  If it claggs up the main board too much, then yes create a new forum.

But it's definitely 'on topic' for the general Rugby Discussion board - who's going to win New Zealand or South Africa has as much relevance to Fantasy Rugby and Rugbycomp as it does to sharing a beer with your mates.

Cheers

Ditto to Tesrof's reply. I find that I can still ignore these topics if I try really hard to read the header. (You want to invent an identifying icon for these threads?)

I would think that it is likely to become a few big threads, so I don't think that it would get in the way too much.

Don't care, wait and see, otherwise no.

Heem... must print out this post to add for my application for a position at Treasury!-)

Well since I'm kicking ass in the Rugbyheads FantasyRugby conference (apart from Strike Force Delta but they obviously got lucky!) I figured that was reason enough set this new Forum up!

Of course if the unthinkable should happen and my team (BT's Boys) should drop off the pace then I may well delete the forum totally, but that's not likely! Wink

Apart from that it seems appropriate to have a forum devoted to fantasy rugby. Judging from some of the crap that gets spouted here in the guise of "rugby analysis" you lot should be bloody brilliant at fantasy rugby! Tongue

Let the discussions begin...

P.S. Did I ever mention that I won the Super 12 finals Fantasy Rugby comp? Cheesy

What a good idea,  though I notice you waited until I slipped to a lowly third in the rugby comp.

I thought this would make a good opportunity to talk up my 1st place in the Rugbyheads FR conference two weeks running...

Close up there at the top, but my obvious rugby nous should see me home... Cool

Pure luck, as you already know by now I know nothing about rugby, put all cash on SA to win by -12 round 1, All money $180+ on NZ to win 13+. This week will continue the trend and lose the lot
