For the NPC competition there are no ‘byes’ so I’m wondering if anyone’s going to run a ‘Theme Team:’ IE; all players from one area only, all Maori (this is pretty wide!), ex League, ex All Blacks, cheapest playing players, going for the highest team value … ?

I’m thinking about starting an all Waikato or Auckland team, and I’m hoping someone else will be going for an all Canterbury, Otago, Wellington … team and we can have a competition within the main competition.  Hmmm – if I went for an all Waikato or all Auckland side how many points start should I give away?

Cheers

You can guarentee that I'll be running with a Red 'n Black powered squad, and with no byes to slow me down I'm confident that they will blow the rest of you into the weeds!

I've picked myself a squad with no more then one player from each team - does that count?  they might be crap but it was at least an interesting exercise.

How about the 'on the back foot straight away with no points from round 1 as you were in the middle of a huge blackout' team?

Ruined my 3N team too... boo hoo hoo

Hey! Just read this and no guidence required thank-you. Cant. are the most frustrating team to pick playing players as they have the best rotation policy.
Finally had a week with playing players but whilst the real rugby was on had (U7 1/2 + oldies) had vey little time for the fantasy stuff. Making my charge late in true Cantab form, bring on the shield pretenders and the finals! Gooooo Canterbury!
