Wellington vs Harbour: Harbour have been very poor thus far and without there "big guns" Flavell (is on the bench though) & Cribb, Wellington should be too strong.

Auckland vs Waikato: Should be a tight game between the near neighbours, Auckland defence will have to improve as Waikato's will be much stronger than Wellingtons. Waikato should have the edge in the forwards and on the score board.

Otago vs Canterbury: Without Blair and Ralph and not having to defend the shield the Cantabs may well drop off in intensity however the battle of the southerners is always tight. Both sides have some highly experienced players, but the "House of Pain" factor tips the scales in 'tagos favour.

Northland vs Southland: Another evenly matched game, especially without Paul Miller, again the home advantage could prove the difference.

BoP vs Taranaki: The 'naki have looked very strong this season and should be too good for a gallant BoP. The bay have been very hard to put away even by the big guns so the game should still be fairly close.
Taranaki 8-14

Bet of the week: Waikato at 12 and under giving a good return at $3.40

Potential Fantasy Stud: Sireli Bobo, On current form you would expect Wellington to run in a number of trys against Harbour, Bobo certainly knows how to finish and is a steal at $880,000
