We need international Cricket in the school Holidays

Surely this would be the time to have some cricket. Great weather, kids of school, Students out of uni, should get good crowds this time of year. Its a shame.

Totally agree! Very disappointing not to have any NZ international cricket over new year. Been watching the Aussie v Pakistan series which has been great! Kinda feels like we go into limbo with our cricket about this time of year.

Be good to see what our pace bowling is going to look like. I guess it will be Martin, Tuffey & Southee with Bond & O'Brien now retired. Still a useful attack, not particulary threatening though. We might need a "fifth" bowler, even if they are just a backup. Maybe Jeetan Patel with Vettori batting 6. Until Ryder is fit, I guess this will be the team:
