Now that I have partly calmed down.
Damn what a result and what an effort by the Reds after trailling by 15 thanks to Donald leaving his kicking boots in Perth. The Reds woke up (not the chiefs fell asleep) muscled up, plugged up the defence and started crawling back into the game. QC the one that needs a QC (Queen's Council commonly referred to as an expensive Que_ __t if you have ever had to pay for one) provided a beautiful offload for the mungo replacement (who bombed 3 chances to put the game away mind you) to stroll over the line untouched. QC has been very very good this year.
The Reds were injury ravaged. So the leaders in the pack Braid the senior, Van the man and Higginbotham stood up and were simply outstanding. While the youngsters in the pack especially Fa'ainga (despite his lottery in the lineouts) and Daley are adding their weight into the discussion. While Genia leadership, sniping and territory gaining boot must have him as the best performing halfback in Aus by miles.
The Reds defence smothered the Chiefs (like the Saders, no sorry the Sadders that game) and forced the mistakes out of the chiefs. So after looking like a formula one racing car in the first 20, then simply turned into a 20 year old uni student car which has not been serviced in 15 years. It runs but handles like shit.
The Reds have the self belief and a real ability to dominate a game now but hell the big question still reamins can the Reds win two in a row. Until they can do that they are still a project in development.
Well hopefully for the QRU more wins = more bums on seats = more revenue = paying back the ARU faster.

Brilliant, really did not think that would be the scoreline. So too for my boys making the Hurricanes look odd if I look at the scoreboard. (didn't get to see any games this w/e)
