Daniel Braid's form last week has caused a fair bit of noise on both sides of he ditch.
McKenzie is busily organising an exception to the
rules to see if they can have Braid for more than the 2 year limit. While a few stories have him [url=http://www.stuff.co.nz/sport/rugby/super-14/3422813/Reds-want-to-bend-rules-to-keep-Daniel-Braid] hinting that he wants to back McCaw come RWC 2011 .
Not too bad from a player that destroyed his European stint after a series ending injury during last years Super 14. This now poses another issues for my favourite topic. How long until the AB's will be allowed to be selected from anywhere? Lets face it the Carter exception, and the joker last year as well.
Sooner or latter its going to be just select the best players available but preference to those domestic. The wallabies now have the rule anyone in the Super 14 comp. I'll be betting that sooner rather than later that it will be adopted by NZ.
So lets open it up and ask the question will a Braid in QLD in 2011 be an AB in 2011.
