You know I thought I wouldn't have to kick this one off but it looks as though the kiwis have dropped the ball after Carter tore his groin and the screw holding McCaw's foot together is about to be replaced.

So well done to Mils Muliaina for being only the second AB to hit 100.  While Slade does keep the 5/8 spot warm for until next week. SBW makes the wing to cover injuries.

Damn but I'm looking forward for seeing the Pumas play more often, next year.  They scored easily the best try today.

Like a tick they stuck in and burrowed under the kiwi's skin and couldn't be shaked away.

you're not wrong about that........

I found it interesting wathcing both games yesterday at how much the referees are letting the defending team get away with. Very few penalties for the the tackler not releasing (although that changed as the AB game wore on)
I also noted that Bryce Lawrence didn't police the offside rule with respect to players ahead of the kicker. Several times Matfield was nearly the first chaser of the kick even tho he started about about 10m ahead of the kicker. I thought Lawrence was pretty poor throughout.....that forward pass call on the Lambie try was a bit of nonsense.

Very rarely do you see a ref that blatently try and even out his mistakes (wallabies had just recieved a dodgy forward pass call as well).  He did it a couple of other times as well.

It was simply not good enough.  After the wonderful refereeing display on Saturday that was simply not up to scratch.

Must say that's very true. refereeing on Saturday was very good in my opinion too. It is clear that refs were told to let the game flow much more - especially at breakdowns and scrum time. Some refs 9Saturday) got in right but a certain asswhipe on Sunday got it horribly wrong Cry Cry
