All Blacks pretty easy to pick I think.

O Franks
Mealamu
Woodcock
Thorn
Whitelock
Kaino
McCaw
Read
Weepu
Cruden
Kahui
Nonu
Smith
Jane
Dagg

Hore
B Franks or Afoa ?
A Williams
Vito
Cowan or Ellis?
Donald
SB Williams

Coaches have ruled out using Weepu at 10 - the right call I think. Cowan is in a funk and Ellis is not ready.
Cruden should go OK I think because the other 14 guys are all going really well.

Aussies will be Pocock, Beale, Genia. Don't really care who else is in the WBs - These are the guys that will kill us if we aren't running at 100%.

Current odds are about $1.35 ABs and $3.00 WBs

This is not right. It should be more like $1.50 vs $2.50 - I think it will shift a little as the Donald Duck fears take hold  Grin

My picks are
1. ABs by 10, and
2. 75% of viewers to moan about the ref regardless of who wins

I think I might slip a lazy hundy on the Wallabies. That way I'll just about have enough beer money to drown my sorrows if we lose...

That is a bit cheap Hamish!

I don't think I could concede an AB loss in this one for $300! ($30,000 maybe...)  Shocked

Damn.. forgot to mention Ioane rounding out the fantastic 4.

However, matching these guys up against McCaw, Dagg, Weepu, Kahui/Jane I think we should be good enough.

A crocked McCaw will not match Pocock at ball pilfering, but with everyone doing their job he won't get too many turnovers.

Conrad Smith is going to be vital. He is like a robot they way he makes perfect decisions regardless of the crappy situations he is sometimes put in.

So you blokes seriously think McCaw is fit?

Look I reckon that the cyborg is having trouble with the foot connection.  Why someone hasn't accidently stood on it is beyond me.  Let me see if I can whistle up Cooper.  It’s not as though he could be even more unloved by the NZ public for picking on that poor defenceless captain.

Oi Cooper go the foot.

Now wait for the hate mail and ....

hate mail? I already knew Cooper would start going for the foot. Just the Aussie way isn't it?

Actually you would be better off trying to take out Weepu. In 2003 George Smith crocked Marshall with a late hit that stuffed the ABs, so it wouldn't be surprising....

Thanks for the thought.  I'll pass it on. Samo please deliver Weepu to the sidelines!

Yeah. So maybe you should just lie down in the interests of Southern dominance.

Maybe Robbie could pull Pocock out of the team. I don't think the rest of them mind losing.  Wink

You know the reverse is also true.  Can you imagine having a 3 time winner of the RWC being this side of the hemisphere?

You already know that your side can't handle the pressure.  So just give up now!

Mmmm but having Australia as that three time winner doesn't reflect the truly dominant team  Smiley

Given the odd history of the RWC I think the Southern hemisphere will have to settle for 3 double winners.
I'm pretty sure South Africa would agree.

Then next time we can find out who gets the threepeat. You'll be well placed for that with most of your stars only 23 or so ... time for you to show a bit of patience like Quade does  Grin

That NZ double is now looking shaky.  It looks as though Quade doesn't even need to step on McCaw's foot with Matt Todds being at training today.  I'm sure it was just to provide oppostion.

Why Richard your screw needs oiling.

A couple of weeks ago NZ were paying $1.60 to win the cup.

Now with The worlds best no 10 out with a groin strain, our second choice gone as well. And the fears about Richies foot and Donald Duck. We find that NZ are now paying a whopping ....
